“My father says that almost the whole world is asleep. Everybody you know. Everybody you see. Everybody you talk to. He says that only a few people are awake and they live in a state of constant total amazement.”

WELCOME!

My name’s Rob Morgan and I’m best known for my time as an internationally touring bassist, music director, and film photographer. (More about all that madness HERE)

Performing on stages, all over the world, opened countless doors and allowed me to meet people from all walks of life. As the years went by, these experiences permanently affixed within me an insatiable curiosity about life, the human experience, food, drink, travel, and the creative process.

Back in 2017, I started this podcast as an excuse to sit down, over drinks, on location, with intriguing people I meet along the way to try and get past what it is they do, to find out who they are, why they do it, and what I can learn from them. But now, it’s turned into something…
more.
Join me as I roam the world in the pursuit of learning what it means to live A Curious Life.

Recorded on multiple continents around the world; cemeteries, cathedrals and beer halls in Europe, distilleries, tattoo shops, airports, green-rooms backstage, coffee shops, and on a ship in international waters… these are just a few of the places you’ll visit when listening in.

One of the most frequent questions I get is,
“Why record ‘On Location’?”

Whether you’re at your dining-room table, a restaurant, a coffee shop, or meeting up with friends at a pub… chances are, the best conversations have happened naturally somewhere over food & drinks. Why should a podcast be any different?

So grab a pint of Guinness, pull up a chair, join the conversation, and don’t forget to tip your waitstaff.

Stay Curious,
